This year, the NHL playoffs are going to be intense and extremely exciting.
It's too bad no one will be able to watch them.
The NHL needs to do a better job airing games. The NHL Center Ice Package is a pretty sweet deal, but the casual fan isn't going to buy it.
Versus would be great, if they played more games, and were available everywhere.
I remember watching games on ESPN, and I miss those days. The NHL needs to try to get back on the ESPN network, it is the sports channel.
And why does NBC have to wait until the finals to show games? Versus is only one channel, it can't play multiple games at once, come on NBC, you have playoff rights too for the NHL.
Maybe I just don't know anything about the deals and contracts that have been signed between leagues and broadcasters, but whoever was in the planning rooms should do a better job with the schedule.
And for the people who say baseball has started, it isn't important yet. Teams still have like 150 games left to play, thats almost twice the NHL's regular season. Besides, anything you miss will be on Sports Center the next morning and get played like 100 times.
